Light x L - Mis. Chapter 10
by ~SitarPlayerIXLight heard the almost immediate sound of his father’s thundering footsteps, accompanied by a nearly as thundering voice. “Raito! Get off of Ryuuzaki right now!” He felt L shudder beneath him. Don’t fear, L… this situation will be resolved in the right way. Light smiled and a slight laugh escaped him.
“Raito! I’m not going to tell you again!” Light released L’s lips and moved to his neck. Say what you will, father. You will not control me. I’m not a child to be pulled around anymore. “L-Light-kun…” L’s voice trembled as he grappled with the waves of euphoria Light was giving his body.
Before Light knew it, his father had stormed across the room and physically pulled him off of L. He glared with such ferocity that he saw a few expressions in the room change. “What is wrong with you?!” Light’s fiery gaze pierced his father.
How dare you. You always get in the way. You haven’t liked me since I was born. I will find some way… you’ll pay dearly for this. “Mr. Yagami…” The Yagamis both looked at L. Light’s expression softened automatically, though his eyes were hidden by his long brown locks.
“Ryuuzaki. I am very sorry for my son’s behavior, and I can assure you--” “Mr. Yagami.” “--that it will never happen again, and when we get home he WILL be punished. Also--” Oh, I’m not the one who’s going to be punished. Consider yourself a martyr for your foolish perception of justice. You should have accepted Kira as law, father… now you’re going to pay for it.
Light smirked briefly but stayed silent. “Mr. Yagami! Please…” L must really be annoyed by now. “Sorry… I got carried away.” Light observed L. So calm on the surface… but whatever happens next will surely be a fine spectacle.
“Mr. Yagami, I think it may be best for you and the rest of the taskforce to leave.” Excellent, L… we’ll be alone, no one to bother us. “Alright, Ryuuzaki. I will do as you say. Come, Raito.” Oh no, I won’t be going anywhere.
L held his hand up. “Wait. He stays.” A general commotion filled the room. “Ryuuzaki, I really don’t think--” “If you question my judgment, Mr. Yagami, maybe you should not come back here.” Very good, L! Well said. He won’t be returning anyway.
Sochiro left with most of the taskforce went with him. Only Matsuda remained. “Ryuuzaki-sama. I don’t think it’s smart for you to stay here alone with Light. I’m going to stay.” Matsuda… you poor fool. You’ve just chosen to join father in hell.
“No, you are not. If you don’t leave right now, I will have you arrested for trespassing.” Matsuda groaned and muttered some words to L. He turned and walked out after a slight hesitation.
Light walked over to reclaim his lover, wrapping his arm around L’s waist. Matsuda looked back one last time. The look in Light’s eyes showed the events of the near future.
L sighed. “Raito?” Light shook his head. “Dad’s big on keeping the Japanese culture alive in our family, even though we might speak English now.” Although he really should have tried to keep himself alive instead. Light leaned forward.
“Now, L. Where were we?” He smirked. “I think… here.” L completed their faces’ meeting and soon they were back on the couch. “Light-kun?” “Yes?” He worked on L’s neck like before. “The odds of this being true love… are 100%.” Light smiled softly. Just like it should be.
